About the Alumni Association

The mission of the Congressional Award Gold Medal Alumni Association is to promote the growth of and support the Congressional Award Foundation. The Association will serve as a network of volunteers who promote the program, assist with fundraising and congressional relations, and represent the Congressional Award at ceremonies and other functions.

Goals:

Raise awareness of the Congressional Award program
Liaison with local councils and youth organizations
Fundraise for the Congressional Award Foundation
Help plan local ceremonies and events
Encourage increased Congressional involvement in the program
Provide an opportunity for networking among Gold Medal alumni
Provide a social setting for Gold Medal alumni throughout the country to reconnect while promoting the Award
Keep current records of Gold Medal Alumni: Where are they now?

Serve as an ambassador of the Congressional Award
Advise future Congressional Award Gold Medallists
