Patrick Gliha is a Director on Celgene’s Federal Government Relations Team in Washington, D.C.
He is responsible for representing Celgene before Members of Congress in both chambers and both parties. Patrick also leads Celgene’s internal political and grassroots programs, and is the lead on policy issues impacting Celgene’s Inflammation & Immunology franchise, Medicare Part D, and Corporate Tax Reform.
Prior to joining Celgene, Patrick spent five years at Amgen as part of the Global Government Affairs Team, and worked on Congressional campaigns in his home state of Ohio for former Congressman Steve Driehaus and former Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy.
Patrick received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron, which he attended on a baseball scholarship and where he was a four-year letter winner. He is currently receiving his M.B.A. from Ohio University and will graduate in May 2018. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Patrick remains a dedicated Cleveland sports fan, and now lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife and two sons. Patrick also serves on the steering committee for the Multiple Myeloma Charity Classic and is an avid golfer.
