Congratulations to the participants below who have been selected as the second group of finalists in the GoPro Challenge. These deserving contestants will be have their GoPro cameras and equipment mailed the week of May 15th to begin capturing their adventure.
All video submissions must be uploaded to a personal YouTube account, listing GoPro and Congressional Award YouTube channels and “Congressional Award GoPro Challenge” as tags. The title of the video should include the contestant’s name and any other relevant descriptors. The deadline to submit your video is 11:59 p.m. EST on November 15, 2017.
One video will be selected as the Grand Prize Winner and will be notified by our national office on December 1, 2017. The Grand Prize Winner will receive round-trip airfare and a one-night stay in Washington, D.C. to attend one of The Congressional Award’s marquee events, where the winning video will be presented.
*Be sure to include your full name in the title of your video submission. Videos should also be uploaded with “Congressional Award GoPro Challenge,” GoPro, and Congressional Award channels as a tags. Once uploaded, you can email your link to the contest coordinator as well.
*Videos may not exceed 3 minutes in duration and should be at or under 500 MB for uploads. Original video files must be in .MPEG, .MOVE, .AVI, or .WMV format. Video should be shot horizontally.
