Alumni Association
As
the President of the Congressional Award Gold Medal Alumni Association,
I invite you to participate in the growth and advancement of
this great association. As former Congressional Award Gold Medal
recipients, you clearly understand the effort and commitment
that it took to achieve this distinction. Moreover, you are
all keenly aware of how important it is for all of the former
Gold medal recipients to keep in touch with one another as colleagues,
mentors, protégés, friends and supporters of the
Congressional Award.
The mission of the
Congressional Award Gold Medal Alumni Association is to promote
the growth and support of the Congressional Award Foundation.
The Association will serve as a network of volunteers who promote
the program, assist with fundraising and congressional relations,
and represent the Congressional Award at ceremonies and other
functions.
We need your ideas
and your energy to make this Association all that it can be.
If you are interested in getting involved in this effort, please
send me an email expressing your interest in getting involved.
It would also be terrific if you could send me an up-to-date
biography of yourselves that tells us about the wonderful things
that each of you are currently engaged in both personally and
professionally. We also want this Association to be an avenue
through which we can celebrate the accomplishments of former
Congressional Award Gold Medal recipients.
I look forward to
meeting all of you, and I look forward to the privilege of serving
you this year as your President.
Yours
in Service,

Andrew
F. Ortiz, J.D., M.P.A.
