Impact and progress are a product of individuals devoting their time, effort, and financial support to meaningful causes.
I volunteer with my local arts association to fundraise, promote community engagement, and provide a forum for creatives to harbor their work.
As a new homeowner I became interested in craftsmanship out of necessity. I find joy in the challenge – from researching how to tackle projects I’ve never attempted to passing it on to a friend once I’ve mastered it. It’s satisfying to be a part of something from start to finish and seeing progress right before your eyes.
No matter how mundane an action may seem if you keep at it long enough it becomes a contemplative, even meditative act. That’s why I like running!
Nowadays our free time is increasingly at a premium so I like to spend it on something worthwhile. Running is unpretentious, it’s a competition with only yourself, and there’s a certain rhythm to it that makes it easy to clear your mind and think.
I’ve made it a goal to travel to destinations surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.
It’s rewarding to step outside of your comfort zone and see “how the other side lives.” Travel (particularly international) is a luxury but its educational and cultural value cannot be emulated.

Serendipity. It has a beautiful sound and meaning – finding something nice while looking for something else.
