We are thrilled to announce the 2018 Gold Medal Ceremony will take place in Washington, D.C. this summer. Gold Medal Ceremonies will be held on June 21st, with a special event for Gold Medalists and their families on June 22nd.
This annual ceremony will celebrate over 440 of America’s most deserving youth who have dedicated years of goal-setting and determination to earn Congress’ highest honor.

Kennedy Caucus Room (SR-325)
Three ceremonies will take place in the Kennedy Caucus Room. Gold Medalists are assigned to one ceremony by their state affiliation.
10:00 a.m. | Ceremony One
Gold Medalists from the following states will be presented at the first ceremony: Arizona, Georgia, Guam, Idaho, Illinois, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
12:30 p.m. | Ceremony Two
Gold Medalists from the following states will be presented at the second ceremony: California, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, and Texas.
3:00 p.m. | Ceremony Three
Gold Medalists from the following states will be presented at the third ceremony: Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
