This Giving Tuesday, your role as a donor can be more than just a transaction – your donation to The Congressional Award is a commitment to sparking change and nurturing untapped potential among our nation’s youth. As you consider where to direct your generosity, envision the impact that resonates beyond mere contributions.
The Congressional Award Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that continues to bring worth to youth and the communities they serve because of supporters like YOU. This day will support the programming that benefits more than 50,000 young Americans every year. Your participation strengthens our mission and provides avenues for success to youth both in your community and across the nation.
When you donate to the Congressional Award Foundation, you’re not just covering registration fees; you’re removing financial hurdles for participants who aspire to join our transformative programs. Your support breathes life into crucial initiatives spanning financial literacy, entrepreneurship, inter-generational connections, global sustainability, food insecurity, STEM, mental health, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and so much more. I’ve learned how to be organized and disciplined. I fed the homeless, learned filmmaking, planned a an international trip, and studied the principles of meditation. Although at times my experience was challenging and time consuming, I persevered. I have gained confidence and feel good that I have been able to set goals and accomplish them.
In earning my Congressional Award medals, I learned and grew from all my experiences working with my community. It may have been a long and tough journey at times, but I am grateful to have had this experience that makes me want to create positive change.
By participating in the Congressional Award I have accomplished so much more than I ever thought possible… I feel a great sense of happiness knowing that by doing this award I was able to help other people as well.
