MICHAEL SKAHILL

Michael Skahill is the lead for government affairs for Lineage Logistics.  Lineage Logistics is the world’s largest temperature-controlled industrial REIT and logistics solutions provider. Lineage Logistics has a global network of over 400 strategically located facilities totaling over 2 billion cubic feet of capacity which spans 19 countries across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. 

Skahill is a veteran to the food industry having held senior positions at Smithfield Foods, Louis Dreyfus Corporation and Cargill, Inc.  Skahill has served as a national officer for the USDA AMS check off appointed by USDA Secretary’s Vilsack and Perdue. Skahill has chaired the US Poland Business Council, the American Romania Business Council as well as served as Treasurer of the US China Agricultural Food Partnership. Skahill is a board member of the Meat Importers Council of America and also serves on the board of the International Student House of Washington, D.C.

Skahill is a native of Dubuque, Iowa, and a graduate of Iowa State University. Skahill resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Joanne.
