“Mr. Blansitt served as the Montgomery County Maryland Inspector General from April 2011 through August 2019. His prior experience included serving almost 20 years in Federal Senior Executive positions, including those of Deputy Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Commerce where he had also served as Assistant Inspector General for Investigations, and with the National Science Foundation where he served as Budget Division Director, Assistant Inspector General for Audits, and Acting Deputy Inspector General. His experience includes financial management positions with three other federal agencies and fteen years as an Adjunct Accounting faculty member with the Northern Virginia Community College. He has an M.B.A. from George Mason University, and is a Certified Government Financial Manager (retired) and a C.P.A.

Mr. Blansitt has served as a member of the Congressional Award Foundation Board since 2010.”
