The Congressional Award, America’s highest award for youth, invites applications for the position of Corporate Engagement Officer. The Corporate Engagement Officer will provide hands-on support for corporate sponsored initiatives, programs, and events hosted by The Congressional Award. They will collaborate with the Communications and Program Teams to develop content for special projects, ensure partner visibility on social platforms, and enhance corporate engagement.
Created by Congress in 1979, The Congressional Award is a public-private partnership that promotes and recognizes achievement, initiative, and service in America’s youth. The Congressional Award is congress’s challenge to young people to set ambitious personal challenges and receive the recognition they deserve for their efforts.
The Corporate Engagement Officer will be an innovative thinker and team player, with an interest in youth development. The successful candidate will be a flexible, self-starter with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills and event management experience required to function effectively with The Congressional Award Team. Capitol Hill experience is preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time, Remote (or an optional 1-2 days in the office, if local)
Pay: $30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year
Employees are currently working remotely 3 days per week and in the office 2 day per week.
