Event Description: Participants across the state of Georgia that have earned The Congressional Award Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medal in the past year or that have not yet had their award presented will have the opportunity to attend a VIRTUAL ceremony later this month. Current participants who are working on their award are also invited to join us.

Presented by our partners at Aflac and hosted by Congresswoman McBath (GA-06), Congressman Loudermilk (GA-11), Congresswoman Bordeaux (GA-07), Congresswoman Williams (GA-05), Congressman Bishop (GA-02) and Congressman Carter (GA-01), the 2021 GA Statewide Ceremony will recognize over 50 medalists from across the state for their dedication to serving their communities and bettering themselves.

Additionally, this event will give current participants across the state a chance to hear from their peers who have earned a medal, network, and encourage even more young Georgians to take on the challenge of earning a Congressional Award.

Please join us to help recognize these outstanding young Georgians for their accomplishments. Medalists will receive their medals in the mail prior to the ceremony and hear from Members of Congress, our corporate partners at Aflac, and participate in breakout sessions where they will share their experiences with fellow medalists and other youth participants.

  • Congressman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11)
